Financial information

IES is one of the leading independent players in education in Sweden in terms of number of students, with approximately 21,400 students in 711 classes across 30 schools at the school start for the 2016/17 academic year, with students from more than 50 percent of the country’s municipalities. IES operates schools from grade 1 of compulsory school up to and including the third year of upper secondary school. Most of the school are for students in grades 4 to 9 –internationally referred to as middle school – with 47 percent of IES students in grades 4–6 and 47 percent in grades 7–9 during the 2015/16 academic year.
